God's Wonderful Works

Beginning today I will be posting the many ways we have seen, and continue to see, God working on our behalf in this case. Let it be noted here and now that we are not putting our faith in the justice system, the court, the evidence, the jury, or our attorney.

Our faith is in God alone.

He alone is worthy or our trust and faith. He is Almighty, unchangeable, omniscient, omnipresent. He is so much to us. Everything, really. And we are so unworthy of all His goodness and grace. If my mom and dad lose this case, whether they receive one day or ten years, they will lose everything. And the repercussions on our country are going to be devastating. It's already almost too late.

My parents were looking for character witnesses, and one of the key people they wanted to testify has been forbidden by this wicked system to say anything about what he believes in cases such as this. Do you think we have the right to free speech? Think again.

• November 1, 30,000 U.S. Observer newspapers need to be distributed before trial November 28. Last time, my dad was never given an opportunity to tell his side of the story, in or out of the courtroom. Someone else has taken it upon himself to see that doesn't happen again. We praise God for this person and his courage to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help him God.
• People from the Ron Paul campaign in Billings volunteer to help with distribution.
• Riky and Amanda take time out of their hectic lives at least three times a week for the next three weeks.
• The responses to the newspapers were rarely neutral; either people agreed wholeheartedly or adamantly disagreed, but by far the majority of the responses were positive! So many people are being harassed by this wicked system.
• One lady called the editor and said they were going through something very similar, and would like to help in any way they could. He gave her my mom's number, and she called and said she would pray, and get the word out, and probably attend the trial as well.
• November 6, agents showed up at my door to hand me a subpoena requiring me to be a witness in the case for the prosecution side.
• November 16, all but about 300 of the papers were delivered. Record time.
• We had a fantastic Thanksgiving. God's peace that passes all understanding pervaded all that we did. Even though our schedules were unusually hectic between church responsibilities, family time, company, and other obligations stress was minimal by God's grace alone.
• Bible reading and prayer time were rich with God's promises, love, grace, and peace. He is near. He is real. He loves us, so much. He really cares. He can be trusted. He is great. He alone is God. He is in complete control. "Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God........because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort."

Daniel 6:22 "My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt."

Daniel 6:26-27 "I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end. He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

God sent an angel to answer Daniel's prayer. It took him 21 days to get to Daniel because the devil hindered his coming. But Daniel kept praying and believing that the answer was on the way.

Daniel 10:12-13 "Then said he unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. "

I read the book of Daniel November 12-16, and these verses stood out to me, and I meditated on them. November 25 Pastor preached on these verses in the book of Daniel! In every service for the last two months the Lord has confirmed in the preaching what He had laid on my heart during the week.

• The church services during the last week of October into November up to the present have been filled with God's power. The Devil is fighting us.
• November 21 Pastor has received prank phone calls, and pranks have been played on them at their house.
• The bus has not been working.
• November 18 we had a record 130 people in one service and at least four people got mad and left in the middle of the service.
• That night the cross hanging above the baptistry mysteriously started to swing, and fell down. Pastor has said over and over that if you are experiencing opposition from the devil, you can count on the fact the your prayers are being heard. Why else would he go to all the trouble? He'll only fight you if you're a threat to him.
• November 24 there were 29 people out for soul-winning!! So far this year 277 have trusted Christ as their Savior.
• My mom and dad went to a restaurant after their arraignment November 26, 2007. The lady there was very attentive, and friendly. When they were leaving she gave my mom and dad a hug and told them thank you for their courage to take a stand on what was right, and their willingness to sacrifice everything they have to make that stand. She said that she had people praying all the way from Park City to Ballentine, and that they would continue to pray for and support them.
• During the arraignment the judge asked them if they had been offered plea agreements. When my mom and dad said no the judge was surprised. My mom and dad wouldn't have accepted a plea agreement anyway. Why plead guilty when you're not?
• The judge also held up a U.S. Observer newspaper and asked if anyone could explain what it was all about. My mom and dad's attorney, Larry Becraft, said that he knew nothing about it except that he knew who the editor of the newspaper was and that the editor was responsible for its distribution. The judge then asked the prosecuting attorney if he was contesting that the paper was used to influence the jury pool, and the prosecutor said that he wasn't contesting that at all as from what he could tell the paper was widely distributed.
• In an aftermeeting with the attorneys the judge admitted that he has never presided over a tax case which is excellent because he will be less biased having not heard it all before.

We praise the Lord alone for all of these things!!!

Additionally, the prosecuting attorney was reprimanded by the judge for flooding his office with last minute motions since he knew full well that this was not the only case the judge was dealing with right now.
