Please Pray For Jessica

Alia's friend Jessica (she's almost 18) is seriously ill right now, and needs prayer. She is very involved in our church; always busy doing something. On Monday she decided to accompany a lady in our church (Trina) who works for a truck escort service, to Idaho. While there she started complaining of stomach pain. Trina stopped at Wal-Mart to get her something for the pain, and when she returned to the vehicle, she found Jessica passed out on the front seat. She couldn't get her to come to, so she called 911 and an ambulance came to transport her to the hospital.

They discovered that she has ovarian cysts. One ruptured causing a nearby blood vessel to burst. They immediately caterized the blood vessel, and ended up draining a liter of blood from her abdomen. She was given morphine for the pain, and they think that she is having an allergic reaction to it because when she stood up her heartrate would go from 160 bpm to 16. Her mother said that she pretty much flatlined, and they thought they were going to lose her.

A cardiologist was brought in, and he said that for every normal heartbeat, her heart was beating rapidly three times in succession. They are doing more tests and plan on giving her heart medication, but as of last night it hadn't improved much.

Jessica realized just a week ago from Wednesday that she wasn't sure she was saved. Praise the Lord that is definitively taken care of now. Lord willing she'll recover quickly, but she'll need your prayers for sure.

Also, keep praying for little Ashley. In some ways she's doing better, but in more ways she's doing worse.

Of course, I will be praying for Jessica. I have put a link in my blog to yours because you seem to have covered all that I would have been able to report in your post. I will also pray for Ashley.
