.....would you go to heaven or to hell? The Bible says that you can know, for sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, whether or not you're going to heaven when you die.
I John 5:13 says "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Who is good? Can anyone truly be good enough for heaven on their own?
Romans 3:10 says, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"
Who has sinned?
Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Where did sin come from?
Romans 5;12 says, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"
God put a price on sin.
Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."God has made a way for us to avoid eternal death in hell.
Romans 5:8 says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9-11 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."
Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Here is how you call upon the Lord:
Do you admit that you are a sinner?
Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God?
If you are sorry for your sins and would like for God to save your soul, just ask Him. It is very simple. You can say something like this... "Dear Jesus, Please forgive my sins, and save my soul. Thank you, Amen." Just as you were born to your parents, you were born into the Kingdom of God when you called on Jesus.
